Easiest Way to Tulum from Cancun
Whether you’re going Tulum from Cancun airport or vice versa, the trip can be a bit confusing.
Nobody wants to be lost in their first time traveling abroad, so that’s why I’m providing you the Easiest way to Tulum from Cancun Airport.
And P.S – I’m not a boujee traveler. I’m writing this for those of you are newbies and want to get a bang for your buck.
So what’s the easiest way to get to Tulum from Cancun Airport?
The ADO BUS hands DOWN!
Not only will you arrive in Tulum within an average or 2-3 hours, but the main buses provide USB charging stations for your cellphone, tablets, etc.
There’s also T.V located in the front of the bus, so choose your seat wisely if you want to take in all the fun.
Getting a Bus Ticket
If you’re unsure about speaking to a ticket agent, and want to avoid any complications.
I recommend using Busbud.com to book your bus ticket.
Busbud will pull up the main bus that runs straight from Cancun airport to Tulum making it easier for you to get there.
In some instances, your flight may or may not arrive at the time the bus may leave. So please make sure to double check your flight prior to booking your bus.
If your flight is later than the bus scheduled, you may need to then head over to the ADO ticket booth (located by the terminal exit) to purchase a ticket.
If you do so, you may have to transfer at Playa del Carmen for a bus to Tulum.
Personally, I’ve had a situation where ADO was not accepting my bank card (which made it a little sucky)
But Busbud.com has global coverage, so you won’t have to worry about your card getting declined.
Waiting for the Bus
Once you leave Cancun Airport (following the path) you’re going to notice swarms of taxi and shuttle companies trying to promote their services.
Past the crowd you’ll notice there are Platforms Listed A-D across the station.
More than likely if you’re flying from the states, you’ll bus will be on Platform D (while you’re in terminal 4).
But as always make sure you double check with a service rep to ensure so.
So that’s it ya’ll.
